Reggie Jackson

MSW Registered Social Worker (#2227)

Throughout our lives there are circumstances that can have an impact on our mental wellness. Most times we have the ability to sort through the issues however, there are other circumstances where we continue to struggle with a similar or reoccurring problem. In not addressed, some of these problems tend to grow or get more complicated over time which can impact our relationships, families, employment, education and our health. Asking for help can be uncomfortable or overwhelming experience for many of us. Regardless of how alone you feel or how big your problem is, support is available and we can find a way forward.

Therapy is individualized to meet your needs where together we use your experience, values and strengths to develop a plan that can help address the challenges and obstacles you are expereincing. Therapy is there to help you discover or enhance your awareness, strengths and skills to overcome life’s challenges, problems or ailments. I strive to create a welcoming, safe and comfortable environment that is essential to therapeutic process. The issues addressed in therapy can be difficult as this often requires a change in one or more areas of our life; with support, this process is much easier with awareness, guidance and a plan.

Favourite quote: Live life fully while you’re here. Experience everything. Take care of your family, your

friends, and yourself. Have fun, be crazy, be weird. Go out and screw up! You’re going to anyway, so you may as well enjoy the process. Take the opportunity to learn from your mistakes: find the cause of your problem and eliminate it. Don’t try to be perfect; just be an excellent example of being human. ~Tony Robbins~

More than just my work:

1. I love all sports, in particular, football, rugby, and wrestling. I am privileged to be able to coach and support youth develop their physical, mental and leadership skills to help prepare them for success both in sport and in life.

2. I thoroughly enjoy life’s routines including work, family and staying healthy. However, I also make every reasonable effort to break the routine by relaxing or enjoying travel, sporting events and other simple pleasures like music.
