Victoria Cornejo
BISW, Registered Social Worker
Life can feel overwhelming for kids, teens, and their caregivers whether it’s big emotions that seem hard to manage, behaviours that don’t make sense, or daily struggles that create stress at home, at school, or in relationships. It’s not always clear what’s driving these challenges or how to respond in a way that actually helps, and many families find themselves feeling stuck, frustrated, or unsure of the next step.
Each child and family is unique, and the work we do together reflects that. Victoria takes the time to understand what’s important to your child and your family, tailoring sessions to your goals, your pace, and the experiences that have shaped your child’s world. Using a client-centered approach, she focuses on building practical, real-life skills to support emotional regulation, strengthen coping, and improve how children and teens navigate everyday challenges. Caregivers are an important part of this process, and Victoria works collaboratively to help you feel more confident in supporting your child.
Victoria offers a welcoming, respectful space where children and teens can feel safe to be themselves, while caregivers feel supported and understood. She meets each family where they are, helping to build connection, improve communication, and create meaningful, lasting change so that home and daily life can feel more manageable and connected.
Experience: Victoria is a Registered Social Worker (RSW) with a Bachelor of Indigenous Social Work (BISW). She works with children, teens, and their caregivers, supporting a range of emotional, behavioural, and day-to-day challenges. She has additional training in ADHD and brings a practical, skills-based lens to her work, helping families better understand attention, regulation, and executive functioning.
Client Focus: Children, Teens, and Caregivers
Types of Therapy: CBT and DBT-informed approach with integration of practical, skills-based strategies tailored to each child and family

More than just my work: Outside of sessions, Victoria values connection, creativity, and the everyday moments that bring families together. She believes that small moments of play, laughter, and connection are an important part of well-being and that supporting families in creating more of these moments is just as meaningful as the work done in session. Victoria has a deep love for animals and spends time volunteering with the Wildlife Rescue Association of Saskatchewan to transport injured wildlife, supporting their care and recovery.
